Jobbskaping og entreprenørskap

Project leader: Sagesse

We aim to teach entrepreneurship and, in some cases, provide support for the start-up of businesses that can help strengthen the local community in the camp. This gives individuals who receive start-up assistance the opportunity to earn an income so they can support themselves and their families.

An example of such support is the video above, which shows that purchasing a sewing machine can provide the opportunity to create products that generate income to support a family.

We truly believe that providing job opportunities can help change people’s futures. Even with just the over 60 employees we have across our various projects, hundreds of people are affected by the ripple effects. Those who receive salaries from us gain the ability to support their families, and money also flows into the local community as they are able to purchase more of what they need. These kinds of ripple effects help build the community within the camp.

We have our own staff within the Brave Heart Foundation, as well as others who are employed, such as craftsmen working on our projects.
