Sports create joy and unity

 

Sports play an important role — even in a refugee camp. For people who have lost so much, sports can be a source of joy, community, and pride.

Brave Heart Foundation collaborates with Molde Football Club to bring the joy of sports to the Meheba camp in Zambia. Together, we have distributed hundreds of jerseys and footballs and supported local teams so they can participate in league matches.

Meheba Academy

 

One of our great sources of pride is Meheba Academy, which, with support from Brave Heart Foundation, has fought its way up to Zambia’s 1st Division. This has generated enormous enthusiasm and unity in the camp, showing the powerful impact sports can have on people’s lives.
